The Struts at Hollywood Bowl: Event Overview
The Struts join Def Leppard and Goo Goo Dolls for a live concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California, on May 1, 2027. The lineup brings together three rock acts for an outdoor show in one of Southern California's best-known concert settings. Ticket information is available through longbeach-tickets.com, your guide to Los Angeles Concerts and Pop / rock events at the Hollywood Bowl on May 1, 2027.
Known for a flamboyant, theatrical approach to rock, The Struts have built their identity around energetic performances and a classic arena-rock spirit. Their appearance alongside Def Leppard and Goo Goo Dolls makes this a multi-generation rock bill, pairing The Struts' modern glam-rock sound with two established headline acts. Specific opening-act order, tour name, and set times have not been provided.
Prices currently start around $120 for a major concert, with some listings reaching $500 or more depending on seat location and availability. Prices can change as the event approaches.
Venue and Seating Information
The Hollywood Bowl is an outdoor amphitheater set into the Los Angeles hills, with a curved layout and an iconic band shell. Its capacity is approximately 17,500. Seating is organized around stage views and concert listening rather than sports-style sightlines, and the venue's hillside setting means walking distances and elevation can vary between sections.
For a premium experience, Garden Boxes and Terrace Boxes offer a comfortable position and a strong view of the full stage. Center Super Seats are a useful middle-ground option for fans seeking a centered view without choosing the most premium boxes. The upper Promenade and bench sections offer the Bowl's classic atmosphere at a greater distance from the performers; consider them carefully if close-up stage detail is important. As an outdoor venue, the Bowl also makes weather, comfortable footwear, and the route to your seats worth considering.
Parking Information
On-site parking is limited and often stacked, which can prevent an early exit. Park & Ride, the Bowl Shuttle, Metro, or rideshare can be more convenient alternatives, especially when planning for post-show traffic. Allow extra time for arrival; venue information recommends arriving at least 90 minutes before the performance.
- Hollywood Bowl Lot A / Blue Lot: 2301 N Highland Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90068. Listed at approximately $55 for stacked parking or $90 for valet. $ Parking details
- Ovation Hollywood Bowl Shuttle: 6801 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028. A shuttle option near Hollywood/Highland; parking may cost up to a $25 daily maximum, with shuttle pricing varying by event. Shuttle information
- Official rideshare hub: Lot C / Purple Lot, 6655 Odin St, Los Angeles, CA 90068. This is a drop-off and pickup location, not a parking lot. Getting-here information
On-site lots may sell out, and stacked parking is not ideal for guests who need to leave early. Avoid parking in surrounding residential neighborhoods, where unauthorized parking may result in a ticket. Check event-specific transportation details before setting out, as parking and shuttle prices may vary.
